01 Is the check really free?
Yes. The check and the report are free of charge and come with no obligation. If you want help afterwards, we offer ongoing monitoring and cleanup, but that is entirely your choice.
02 Can the scan affect our website?
No. The scan is passive and only looks at what any visitor can see from the outside. We do not log in, we do not attempt to exploit anything and we make no changes to the site.
03 Why do we need to confirm that we own the site?
We only scan websites with the owner's explicit permission. It is standard professional practice and a principle we do not compromise on. It also protects you: nobody can order a scan of your site in your name.
04 What does the report contain?
A prioritised overview of the plugins, themes and settings that pose a risk, the severity of each finding and concrete steps to fix it. Written in plain language, so it is useful to management and developers alike.
05 Our website is managed by an agency. Can they use the report?
Yes. The report can be forwarded directly to whoever maintains the site, and it includes the technical detail they need to fix the findings.
06 When will we receive the report?
Within 24 hours on business days, once you have confirmed by email that the site is yours.
07 Can private individuals get their site checked?
No. The check is for businesses, associations and public organisations.
